Oregon 550t for geocaching

About a year ago I got really into geocaching. I promptly got so busy working on my master's thesis that I had to put it off, and then completely forgot about it. This summer I re-discovered it, and found out that my girlfriend was really enjoyed it as well. So geocaching is now officially our new hobby. To celebrate this, I purchased an Garmin Oregon 550t GPS for using on our geocaching trips. So far I've been really satisfied with it, and it's really nice to be able to go geocaching in pouring down rain without worrying about damaging the equipment. Google maps - do I need it?

Google Maps ScreenshotI've now tested Google maps for mobile phones to find out if this is a smart application to have on your cell phone. I was quite optimistic about Google maps for mobile phones before installing it, seeing as Google maps on the web is actually a really great thing. However I was kind of disappointed with Google maps for mobile phones. Here's why.
